Look at the familiar scene from your classroom window and observe the wealth of potential for wildlife and education in your school grounds. Most schools have areas of various habitats in their grounds, e.g. cut and uncut grassland, ponds, hedgerows, gardens and flower beds, individual trees and small areas of woodland or copse.
